About the practitioner

I'm AK — and this practice has been part of my life for a long time.

One simple belief: that care is a gift worth sharing freely.

About me

My name is AK. I came to Reiki not as a career choice, but as something I was drawn to quietly, persistently, until I couldn't ignore it anymore.

I started because I was searching. I stayed because I kept witnessing something I couldn't fully explain — a settling, a softening, a sense of coming back to yourself. I've felt it in myself. I've seen it in others.

I'm not here to convince you of anything. I offer sessions as a gift because I believe that care shouldn't be gated behind a price tag. If it reaches you and helps, that's enough for me.

Why I offer this as a gift

Early in my practice, I received Reiki from someone who asked nothing in return. That session changed something in me — not dramatically, but deeply. I've never forgotten it.

I offer sessions freely because I want that experience to be available to anyone who needs it, regardless of what they can afford.

This is my way of passing it forward.

How I work

Every session begins with intention. Before I start, I take a few minutes to centre myself, hold your name and your wellbeing in mind, and open to whatever is needed — not what I think should happen, but what wants to move.

In Reiki traditions, practitioners believe the practice can be offered from a distance. Individual experiences vary — but I've found that presence and intention don't require the same room.

I don't diagnose. I don't promise outcomes. I simply show up, hold space, and trust the process.

What you can expect

Distance Reiki is offered from wherever you are. You don't need to join a call or do anything in particular.

Find somewhere comfortable around your session time. Give yourself a little quiet if you can.

Experiences vary from person to person. There is nothing you need to feel or achieve.

Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care. Read the full disclaimer.

My Reiki background

I've been practicing Reiki for a number of years. My learning has been ongoing — not just formal study, but years of daily practice and learning from every session.

I've sat with people in many different moments of life. I've also sat with people who simply wanted to feel more like themselves.

I'm still learning. That's the part I love most.

Either way, you're welcome here.

Whether you're curious, skeptical, or simply in need of a quiet moment — there's no wrong reason to be here.
